Below is some of the original scenery I started with. Since then I have been busy with my EZ-Scenery & AFCAD. Adding a lot and trying to get close to the actual KCMI located in Champaign, Illinois.

To be able to see it as depicted in my screen shots .
I suggest that all of the EZ-Scenery add ons be on your computer.
You can see the links at. > http://www.flightsim-bevs.com/smf_1-0-5/index.php?topic=1418.0

Be sure you fly over the University of Illinois stadium on the 4th of July for the fireworks with sound ! Be sure its dark and you have a quite plane...

Yes I do know it is not perfect. It is the first one I have done. The power lines are not matched up exactly. But from the air, it is almost impossible to even see them..

Just add the KCMI file to your add on scenery then activate in FS9
Freeware for use with FS9. Payware EZ-Scenery sugessted to see all of the items. I have the add ons located in the Program/Microsoft/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Static Objects Library

ABOUT THE AIRPORT:

Willard Airport is one of only a handful of commercial airports in the country owned and operated by an educational institution. Willard Airport, often referred to by its FAA designation "CMI," was named for former University of Illinois president Arthur Cutts Willard. Formal dedication of the airport took place on October 26, 1945 with the first scheduled airline service in 1954.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign established its nationally recognized Institute of Aviation at Willard Airport in 1946. The University takes full advantage of training and research opportunities made possible by the location of the Instiitute on the grounds of Willard Airport.

Today Willard Airport is served by four major air carriers that operate 17 arriving and 17 departing flights per day: American Airlines, American Connection, Delta Connection, Northwest Airlines and one private jet service: FlightStar.

Airport Operational Statistics:

Aircraft based on the field: 85
Single engine airplanes: 69
Multi engine airplanes: 9
Jet airplanes: 7

Aircraft operations: avg 355/day
Local general aviation 59%
Transient general aviation 32%
Air Taxi 9%
Commercial <1%
Military <1%

ABOUT THE SCENERY:

This scenery is an experiment with dynamic scenery. In an attempt to make the scenery around the terminal more real, I placed dynamic vehicles and people in the area. The rest of the field has the usual static and dynamic scenery. There is room for more AI flights if you wish to add it on. Some of the aircraft will park inside the hangar. Please enjoy this rather interesting airport.
